Access to Menstrual Health Products

You can vend out sanitary napkins during an emergency from our Sanitary Napkin Vending machines conveniently placed in the toilet.

To make this process much more accessible, affordable and exciting, we have collaborated with both international and Nepal made pad companies, as a result of which the pads you vend out from our machine are cheaper than market rate!

02

Awareness and Advocacy

Workshops are held with school and college level students in an inclusive manner; with both male and female students to normalize discourse around menstruation and the taboos associated with it. Nepal being a patriarchal society, men engagement is imperative to overcome social issues faced by women.  Providing boys and men with an equal platform to normalize discourse around menstruation would enable a domino effect for future generations to stop stigmatization of menstruation.

03

Access to Sanitation Facilities

Pad2Go has had the opportunity to collaborate with pad manufacturers, both international and local and provide pads at less than market rate in order to ensure affordability. 100% profit from the pads and 10% profit from the machines is then re-integrated back into the rural communities to build gender and disability friendly toilets and sanitation facilities. With this, we aim to implement the Robin-hood effect- redistribution of income to reduce economic inequality.  (Help us, help you, help others!)

Ground research and data collection provided evidence of a vicious cycle reinforcing patterns of inequality.

Menstrual health, female literacy and women empowerment have a direct bearing on each other.
